Chocolate and health problems

Chocolate and problems with acne and pimples
Studies have shown that most people blame the chocolate as one of the biggest culprits for the problems with acne and pimples.

However, there is no evidence to confirm this belief. According to scientific studies conducted so far, there is no component of the substance in chocolate that may create acne and pimples, or make them worse.

Chocolate and excessive thickness
If you regularly eat more food than the body needs, and than you get to spend, the excess energy the body will store as body fat. Chocolate is energy dense, which means that it contains high levels of kilojoules for its weight, about 2200 kJ per 100 g

Regularly eating spicy food energy is the fastest way of getting extra pounds, but it would be wrong to say that eating chocolate is often automatically leads to obesity. The culprit for the excessive thickness of the overeating in general, not specific foods. A person who does not eat too much chocolate can safely eat without fear of gaining weight.

Chocolate and degenerative diseases
Antioxidants, such as catechins, substances found in some foods such as tea, fruits and vegetables, and opinion is that they protect the body against degenerative diseases such as heart attack and cancer. The content of antioxidants in chocolate is detected as significantly higher than in tea.

Chocolate, especially dark chocolate, is an excellent source of catechins and may help prevent the growth of blood cholesterol and reduces the tendency of blood clotting. Of course, it is more evidence that these results affect heart health. If you want to encourage the inflow of catechins and keep the fat low, try drinking cocoa instead of eating chocolate, which generally contains much more fat.
